Safari Zones & Entry Gates

Indian Wildlife Trips 15 Sep 2026
Jim Corbett National Park is divided into several safari zones, each offering a unique wildlife experience. The main zones include Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, Durgadevi, Dhela, Garjiya, and Phato.

Each zone has a designated entry gate, and visitors must enter through the gate assigned to their safari permit. Dhikala is one of the most popular zones, known for its scenic landscapes and diverse wildlife, while Bijrani is famous for its dense forests and chances of spotting tigers.

Before planning your safari, check the zone availability, entry gate, safari timings, and permit requirements. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during the peak tourist season.

Tip: Choose your safari zone based on your travel dates, accommodation location, and preferred wildlife experience.
